Travis Lindquist (b.1969) grew up in Brewster, a seaside community in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He is primarily a painter but has branched out into other mediums, including sculpture, video, photography, sound, and digital animation and has worked on several collaborative projects with artists, scientists, writers, and musicians. Lindquist received his MFA from Georgia State University in 2019, and received his BFA from Tufts University, Boston, MA and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. He was an animator on Richard Linklater’s, Waking Life, is a founding member of the artist collaborative group, Goldmine Shithouse, and has exhibited extensively in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, London, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta, Miami, Salt Lake City, and Stockholm. He currently lives and works in New York City.
